The Third International Weather Forum is being organized by the French Meteorological Society in Ajaccio, Corsica, from 9 to 15 October 2006.
The accent will be on climate change and environmental issues. Two debates will be organized for the public: “The impact of climate change in Corsica” and “The challenge for Earth”.
On 13 and 14 October, professionals in the field can participate in four round-table sessions to discuss the climate situation and how best to keep the public informed.
Les 13 & 14 octobre 2006 au Palais des congrès d’Ajaccio, météorologues, climatologues, chercheurs et présentateurs météo se réuniront dans un colloque international qui proposera 4 tables-rondes autour du thème des dérèglements climatiques et des moyens de mieux en informer le public.
En parallèle, du 9 au 15 octobre 2006 (FETE DE LA SCIENCE), un programme pour sensibiliser « petits et grands » aux graves impacts des changements climatiques et à certains enjeux environnementaux.
